We send you a Christmas song in three different languages: Portuguese, English and Lithuanian. Try to sing with us :)

Rudolph is a reindeer of Santa Claus. He helps Santa to travel around the worl at Christmas Night.

While traveling Rudolph sings his funny song. Do you want to hear it?

As we already smell Christmas in the air, we decided to decorate our classroom.
We have a Christmas tree made of chestnuts.

We learned how to make snowflakes of paper. Look what wonderful snowflakes we cut!

Do you know who is Rudolph?
Here it is! It's Santa's reindeer:

Now we're ready for Christmas, would you like to visit our classroom?

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Last week we have been helping Santa really a lot!!!
Let's see what we have done!
We helped him to decorate and colour present boxes and wrappings...

Of course then we had to help him with the list of wishes. So, all the toys got in to Santa's sack.

We realised how much work Santa has to do... And we decided to make a little army of Santa's helpers so that they could replace us sometimes when we will be occupied with... being good.

Here we are! Starting from the youngest ones. Little Santas are being created!!!

This is the entire army of little helpers!

Dear Santa, we know how busy you are but we hope you have time to visit us this year because we have been soooo good!!!!

Last Thursday (26th of November) we have invited the parents to prepare a Portuguese traditional recipe…so we made it with their wonderful help…so we have all decided to prepare the famous -Formigos or Mexidos - There’s no English equivalent for these names! Anyway Formigas are actually ants in Portuguese, but we assure you won’t find any in this delicious Christmas dessert, that is very popular in Northern Portugal, especially in Minho and in Trás-os-montes

INGREDIENTS:
2 l water
500g bread (the bread used in this recipe shouldn’t be too soft)
3 cinnamon sticks
3 eggs
125g of butter
50 g raisins
100 g walnuts, chopped
100 g pine nuts
3 soupspoons of honey
200g of sugar
1 goblet of port wine
1teasoopn of salt
Lemon zest
Ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Break the bread into very small pieces with your hands.
2. Boil the water with all the ingredients, except for the bread and the dried fruits, for a while.
3. Add the chopped walnuts, the pine nuts and raisins and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Add the bread and let it cook for some time until the mixture starts thickening and becomes uniform. Stir several times with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps.
5. Discard the lemon zest. Pour into individual dishes or onto saucers, which is more traditional, and decorate with ground cinnamon forming stencilled patterns on top of the mixture.
6. Serve warm or cold. The mixture will set into a solid mass and can be eaten in small cubes.

Enjoy it!!!

With the 3rd graders we have created an amazing city!
Here you can visit wonderful zoos, shopping centres, police, train and bus stations. Also, in our city we have got several schools, markets, an amazing castle, a huge cinema and many other interesting places.

Now you can watch a short movie representing our fantastic city:)

We hope you've enjoyed it! And now...would you like to visit us?

Today we read a story written last school year written by the pupils from the 4th A and C and all the other school partners from the Comenius Project. There were 7 Intercultural Stories and this is only one of them. Soon there will be more Stories available here.
Now you can read all over again and research in the internet about the geographical and historical facts included in the story…

Have fun

Just like grown-ups, some 1st grade pupils attended their first videoconference, the theme was: Summer Holidays. I must point out that our pupils were the youngest ones, so they were just great, I am very proud of them all...just look at some pictures and then click on the links to replay the videoconferences.

Hello dear friends, I want to introduce my Family, as we are learning this topic...

Bye-Bye

Now.... let's try to recognize and find them!!!

We are doing very well so far!!!

And here is the picture of our favourite toy!!

Let's listen to this new song...

Great singers aren't they?

And now the original song..

Let's sing it together!

We're form the 2nd grade. Now we can present our freetime activities in English.

Look! What nice cards we've made!

We also know how to write those words correctly!

Today with the 3rd graders we started a new topic- FAMILY.

We did various interesting exercises from 'Escola Virtual':

We worked on a 'Family Crossword',
Family Relationships,
...and Family Tree.

We are learning the parts of the body.

Inês 3ºA

And now listen and watch these videos...

The next Big Group:-)

Now we can teach our parents and friends the song...

Let's sing it together:

In Portugal there are several things you can have for breakfast: most people have only milk and coffee with bread and butter or cheese; children can't take coffee so sometimes they put chocolate on the milk, or eat cereals; you can also drink orange juice and eat fruit.

Manuel Gonçalves 4ºA

Bom apetite

It all starts with the alphabet, so let's learn it...

Well done!!

Now watch some more videos about the alphabet:

Take a look at this very old video from 1950...

Awsome isn't it?

Hope you have learnt and enjoyed!
